What major should I choose?

There are many things to consider when choosing a major. Because it has such a big impact on one's life it is not something to be taken lightly. However, there is no clear cut method for deciding. Some people choose a major because of family influence. Others have a career in mind and choose a major that fits that career. You can also take surveys that test your personality and make suggestions based on this. Even with the most meticulous planning, people often change majors once they get into college as they grow and discover more things.
